Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 10, 2026 | Last Updated: March 10, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Remote Construct ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the platform, including registered users and visitors.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Remote Construct. By registering, you confirm that you are 13 or older. If we discover an account belongs to someone under 13, we will delete it without notice.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your username or password with others. Each person may hold one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or limits is not permitted.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to damage, destroy, or cause harm to any physical machine on the platform
- Deliberately drive a machine into obstacles, off edges, or in ways intended to break it
- Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to manipulate queue positions or session timing
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, the admin panel, or the server
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities — if you find one, please report it rather than abuse it
- Harass, impersonate, or threaten other users
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
5. Sessions and Queue
Each session grants you a limited time to operate a machine (currently 10 minutes per session, subject to change per machine). Sessions are non-transferable. When your session ends you return to the general queue.
Queue positions are held per-connection. Disconnecting from the site may cause you to lose your place in the queue. We are not liable for lost queue positions due to connectivity issues on your end.
6. Payments (When Applicable)
The Service is currently free to use. We plan to introduce paid sessions in the future. When we do, the following will apply:
- Prices will be clearly displayed before you commit to a purchase
- Payments will be processed by a third-party processor (e.g., Stripe)
- Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis — if a technical failure on our end cut your session short, contact us
- Refunds will not be issued for sessions interrupted by your own connectivity issues or for voluntary early exits
This section will be updated with full billing terms before paid features go live.
7. Moderation and Account Termination
We reserve the right to warn, timeout, kick, temporarily ban, or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms. Moderation decisions are at our sole discretion.
If your account is banned while you have a paid session (once payments are available), we will review refund eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. See our Privacy Policy for information on data deletion.
8. Machine Availability
We do not guarantee that any specific machine will be available at any given time. Machines may go offline for maintenance, technical issues, or other reasons. We are not liable for unavailability of any machine.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remote Construct and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost time, lost data, or service interruptions.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim (or $0 if the Service was free at the time).
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
For significant changes (such as introducing paid features), we will post a notice on the platform in advance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable US law.
